No one doubts that the animal kingdom is full of wonders and mysteries that human beings have never discovered and may never discover but certain things can be so improbable that it’s hard to believe luckily people sometimes record these moments so that everyone can check with their own eyes Have you ever seen whales making a bubble trap a swallowed fish an eel bigger than itself let’s get to know these bizarre cases and show you how they happen.
1. A mama cat that just had kittens adopts three ducklings and raises them as her own
Meet Della. She lives on a farm in Ireland, and she just had kittens. But that’s not all she has – a few hours after giving birth, she came across these newly hatched ducklings.
Her mother instinct kicked in, and she brought them along and started to nurture them.
It’s amazing to see ducklings draw milk from her, and one can only guess that this is an instinct from the ducks too, as they have come across an unusual source for nutrition and just learned from the kittens.
As the ducks grow older, they start to behave more like ducks and less like kittens. This includes constantly walking away from the box…
…and mother has a lot of work keeping them in place.
They have no problem keeping in line though. And even though they grow a lot faster than their “siblings”, they loyally follow their mom around the farm, as ducks do.
2. Moment when massive flock of birds fall from the sky in Mexico
Straight out of an eerie scene from a Hitchcock movie, scores of birds suddenly out of nowhere could be seen falling from the sky on a fairly calm day, many plummeting to their death.
The strange event was captured on a home security camera in the city of Cuauhtemoc in Chihuahua, Mexico. The footage showed a rush of hundreds of yellow-headed blackbirds in a flash spiraling out of control to the ground in a residential neighborhood during the early-morning.
Many of the discombobulated birds were able to quickly gain flight again and take off, but others died after crashing into houses, cars and each other or hitting the pavement hard with great speed.
Residents came out of their homes later that morning to find to their surprise dozens of dead bird carcasses littering the street in the Alvaro Obregón neighborhood.
It remains a mystery as to what exactly caused scores of birds to suddenly drop in a flash from the sky, although many locals and experts have speculated what might have disoriented or scared the birds to such an extent.
3. Legionary ants form living bridge to raid wasp nest
A swarm of ants ransacking a giant wasp nest in a bid to steal it’s honeycomb has gone viral. In what appears to be a well thought out heist, millions of ants were captured forming a “bridge” out of their tiny bodies that led from one side of a wall to the nest.
The video was shot in Brazil and stormed across Twitter, receiving 10,000 retweets and 717,000 views at time of writing (August 7).
Impressive the level of swarm intelligence and collective computation to form that bridge. When this type of attack happens, the wasps usually escape and the ants do not leave until they’ve completely looted the honeycomb, carrying pupae, larvae, and eggs, as well as some adults who did not manage to escape.
They can even build across the water!
