Kelly Seymour and Victoria Bolger (both 31 years old) live in Bakersfield, Nottingham, England. The two have known each other since the age of 3, they grew up together, as close as two sisters in a family. These best friends went to kindergarten, elementary school, high school, and even went to the same class at university.
After 28 years of being close, the two recently gave birth to a son on the same day, just a few hours apart, at the same hospital. This coincidence is very rare, in 250,000 pairs of close friends, there is only one case like them.
On December 2, Kelly Seymour and Victoria Bolger both gave birth to a son at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Nottingham City Hospital. Victoria’s baby George was born at 12:41′, weighing more than 3.7kg, he was born 2 days earlier than expected. Kelly’s baby Charlie was born at 2:54′, weighing 3.3 kg, he was also born 4 days early.
Charlie is Kelly’s first child with Karl Homes (25 years old), and George is Victoria’s second child with Mark Stewart (also 25), they previously had a son named Zach (2 years old).
Kelly said: “Over the course of our lives, we have grown together and shared all the important events. We are close like family, Victoria is like my sister. I hope to have a son in the future. We also have such a close friendship.”
Victoria shared: “Earlier I joked with Kelly that maybe you and I would give birth on the same day. However, we never thought that would actually happen. What a coincidence!”
