When she gained weight, Maxxzandra Ford thought she was sick. So she was shocked when the doctor said she was pregnant at 35 weeks.
The hospital nurses also thought she was pregnant with twins because her belly was quite large. Maxxzandra Ford has a 5-year-old daughter, 1-year-old son and both of her children were born weighing only 4-4.5kg, so she also thinks she is pregnant with twins.
Finally, after 18 hours of labor, Maxxzandra gave birth to a baby boy named Avery weighing 6.3kg. Many consider Avery to be the heaviest baby ever born at St Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
