Little Gabby Williams is one of the rare people in the world who has a mysterious condition that makes her body never age. So despite being 8 years old, baby Gabby only weighs nearly 5 kg and must always be cared for like a newborn. Her parents have to change diapers often and feed her many meals a day.

In addition to Gabby, there are several other people suffering from this like a woman in Brazil who has reached the age of 31 but also looks like a 2-year-old child; A 29-year-old Florida man looks like a 10-year-old boy, and 40-year-old Nicky Freeman from Australia also looks like a 10-year-old boy. Now researchers are trying to find a link between Gabby’s case and the three people mentioned above.
Researcher Richard F.Walker, who specializes in this area, said: “In these people, something happened to slow down the development of the body. If we can identify genes that slow down aging we could achieve what is called “biological immortality”. This means that people will still die from disease, or accidents, but will never experience the aging effects that are typified by Alzheimer’s dementia.
Gabby’s mother Mary Margret said: “Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most feared diseases. If Gabby can provide clues to cure then we will certainly participate in this research project. I believe Dr. Walker and the scientific community will find a way to cure the diseases of old age rather than making us immortal at 35.”
